Greece is consistently a top destination for my travel agency. I’m frequently approached with questions, usually surrounding best time of year. You can visit Greece 365 days a year. The mainland of Greece - especially the north of Greece into the national parks & mountains - incredibly rich in culture & experience. However, the islands are seasonal. Typically, late April to late October. Sweet spot being late June to late September, in my opinion. Clients from Tuscaloosa are just wrapping up a gorgeous 2-week trip through the Peloponnese and Greek Islands, staying at some of my favorite hotels from Deos in Mykonos to Canaves Oia in Santorini, Corfu Imperial in Corfu, The Dolli in Athens, and Amanzoe in Porto Heli. Highlights of their trip that I particularly love included a private farm cooking class, and private boats to pedestrian-only little islands like Hydra.
