I’ve been traveling to the Park City areas for many years, but only just stayed at The Lodge at Blue Sky this month. It’s set a little bit outside of Park City in a quiet mountain valley, with incredible peaceful energy. It was one of those moments, upon checking in, that the place itself was actually better than the marketing … you know those places? Lots of yoga, walks, an energy session, in-forest sound bath, great food, damn near flawless service & hospitality, easy logistics from Salt Lake City Int’l SLC Airport. If it’s not on your radar - either solo, with a partner, friends, your pet, family - put it firmly there.

I know everyone is short on time when it comes to a vacation or a getaway to recharge or reconnect with a loved one(s). Which is why I probably share these quick week-long trip ideas that may seem daunting or impossible, but actually really doable when organized properly. And by that, I mean, not stacked from sun up to sun down. One such trip on my desk at the moment is for a couple traveling to Puglia, Umbria, and Rome. 7NTs from landing to taking off again. They’ll start in Matera Puglia at Sextantio le Grotte Della Civita for 2NTS -> then head to Reschio for 3NTs located in the Umbrian countryside via private car with a stop in Caserta for lunch & a stroll -> then end in Rome at Casa Monti near the Colosseum for 2NTs.
