January is the busiest month of the year for me, in terms of planning new travel for you all. Those last-minute ski trips, Spring Break getaways, and summer vacations, all coalescing at once. It’s why for years now I will usually travel in December myself, or lay low locally, taking advantage of rest and the relative quiet from my inbox … knowing January into February will require more from me. I was speaking recently with a journalist who interviewed me for a piece he is working on about mental health on this side of the travel business and it’s one of the things I touched on - anticipating the busy seasons and taking a breather leading up to. Ebbs and flows versus living in the red, super important. I digress ... What I’m planning this month is what I wanted to share here!, in the hopes of spurring inspiration for your 2026 travels … Japan, Iceland & Scotland, Miami, Aspen, Beverly Hills, Santa Barbara, Croatia & Montenegro, St Barths & the BVIs, Bora Bora, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Seoul & Hong Kong, all over Italy & Spain, and Paris. / Image, from a trip to Seoul South Korea.

Folks are traveling as I type … throughout Mexico, Hawaii, Las Vegas, Washington DC, they’re skiing in St Moritz & Courchevel, and exploring Morocco.

St Barths is on my desk more than usual these days, whether for a group of friends traveling for a 40th Birthday Celebration next month or several Anniversary Trips sprinkled throughout the year, it’s definitely one that you all are asking for specifically. It’s a special and singular island, in terms of what it is and what it provides - a little bit of France closer to home, incredible nightlife, beach clubs, and dining, gorgeous water, beaches and boating, hiking, shopping, some of the best hospitality on the planet within hotels and in ultra-private villas, it’s truly and uniquely an adult’s playground.
